The manual is the result of the ‘Feminist Urban Lab’, an interdisciplinary collaboration across the social sciences, humanities and the arts, made possible by the AISSR and a seed grant from CUS and ACHI. The objective of the Feminist Urban Lab was to provide early career urban scholars with a space to experiment with both new feminist urban research methodology and artistic tools for critical public outreach in urban spaces.

Want to set-up your own Feminist Urban Lab? This manual will allow you and your students or colleagues to set-up a necessary space to explore, experiment, and develop your own feminist methodological toolbox. The document claims no authority, but invites you to cultivate, use, and adapt the content to your own urban situation and political interest.
