Eligible for membership of the Centre for Urban Studies are

• Post doctoral researchers and PhDs (both external and internal) at the UvA Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, and whose work focuses on the urban. We actively invite this group of researchers to become a member
• Urban researchers employed by other UvA faculties who have co-applied for our Seed Grant (XL) programmes in the past, and who have active research collaboration with other members of the Centre for Urban Studies

Members of the Centre for Urban Studies enjoy the following benefits

• Eligibility for applying for the CUS Seed Grants (project funding)
• Promotion of their work through our website, newsletter and social media channels
